David Caon

One of the leading emerging designers in Australia, David worked with George Sowden, Jerszy Seymour and with Marc Newson. In 2007 he took on the role of Design Leader for prestigious international architectural firm Woods Bagot and was featured as one of Australia’s top ten emerging designers by DQ magazine. 

 

Philip Chia

With over 25 years in the industry, Philip's contribution has earned him a reputation as one of Australia's foremost interior designers. Philip founded Idiom Design Practice in 1996 and cultivated a recognised design signature for many commissions. In 2010 he launched The Uncarved Block in pursuit of a new creative direction.

 

Adam Cornish + David Knott

Adam studied Industrial Design at the University of Sydney and completed a degree in Furniture Design at Melbourne’s RMIT. David achieved early accolades as runner up in the Young Designer of the Year, and as a finalist Idea Awards, Launch Pad and the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award.

 

Facet Studio

Award winning architects, Olivia Shih and Yoshihito Kashiwagi, established Facet Studio in Sydney, Australia in 2008. Facet Studio design portfolio includes retail design, office fitout, single residential, commercial and public buildings; the field of activity has also extended beyond Australia into Japan, China and France.

 

Luke + Louise Ommundson

The Evostyle team is headed by the unique combination of Luke and Louise Ommundson, who bring together their expertise of architectural design and third generation timber craftsmanship. Luke is a third generation craftsman with expert knowledge in timber, cabinetmaking and woodturning.

Matthew Sheargold

Matthew Sheargold is an award winning designer who has balanced  between interior design, product and furniture design for the past 17 years.  Having worked for some of the leading interior design firms around the world Matthew now runs SHEARGOLD, a multi-disciplinary design firm in Sydney, Australia.

 

Kim Torma

Kim has been the creative director of Axolotl for eighteen years. Over that time Kim has honed his passion for organic creative expression and meticulous attention to detail to a level of engineering ingenuity that approaches alchemy. His skills are multi faceted from design to execution.

Kris Torma

Kris has been involved in the visual and creative arts for the past 30 years.  He has studied cinematography and worked as an art director in the Australian film and television industry. As the co-founder and managing director of Axolotl he has continued to dream and create, winning multiple awards for innovation and creativity along the way.

Ben Wahrlich

As a trained design engineer, Ben has a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing principles. He utilizes cutting edge production technologies together with traditional materials, which has lead to developing a unique and contemporary aesthetic in his work. Originally from New Zealand, Ben now operates AN/AESTHETIC, based in Sydney.

 

Andy Grigor

Andrew is dedicated to designing engaging and unique products for everyday solutions.  With a real passion and eye for detail, Andrew has had success in both local and international design awards. Andrew’s passion for creating beautiful objects has been expressed in a diverse mix of products ranging from bespoke furniture and lighting through to mass manufactured consumer products.
