David Caon

One of the leading emerging designers in Australia, David worked with George Sowden, Jerszy Seymour and with Marc Newson. In 2007 he took on the role of Design Leader for prestigious international architectural firm Woods Bagot and was featured as one of Australia’s top ten emerging designers by DQ magazine. 

 

Philip Chia

With over 25 years in the industry, Philip's contribution has earned him a reputation as one of Australia's foremost interior designers. Philip founded Idiom Design Practice in 1996 and cultivated a recognised design signature for many commissions. In 2010 he launched The Uncarved Block in pursuit of a new creative direction.

 

Adam Cornish + David Knott

Adam studied Industrial Design at the University of Sydney and completed a degree in Furniture Design at Melbourne’s RMIT. David achieved early accolades as runner up in the Young Designer of the Year, and as a finalist Idea Awards, Launch Pad and the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award.

 

Facet Studio

Award winning architects, Olivia Shih and Yoshihito Kashiwagi, established Facet Studio in Sydney, Australia in 2008. Facet Studio design portfolio includes retail design, office fitout, single residential, commercial and public buildings; the field of activity has also extended beyond Australia into Japan, China and France.

 

Darren Palmer

Designer, writer and presenter, Darren Palmer is an established and well-regarded member of the design community, recognised for his stylish and classic interiors. Having studied Fine Arts, Darren writes for a number of design magazines and is a judge on channel 9's 'The Block'.

 

Coco Reynolds

Coco studied Industrial Design from the University of Canberra, and has recently completed the craftsmanship of woodwork at the STURT school of wood. Inspired to push the boundaries of many mediums and functions she has since developed her own unique style. Her strong work ethic and experiences internationally have influenced her as a diverse and confident designer.

 

Matthew Sheargold

Matthew Sheargold is an award winning designer who has balanced  between interior design, product and furniture design for the past 17 years.  Having worked for some of the leading interior design firms around the world Matthew now runs SHEARGOLD, a multi-disciplinary design firm in Sydney, Australia.

 

Tuza + Conradi

A collaboration between two of Axolotl's senior designers; Sophia Conradi studied Product Design at Enmore Design Centre and Graphic Design at the University of Sydney, while Emmaline Tuza has completed studies in Interior and Spatial Design at UTS. The pair are multi-talented with a strong working relationship and understanding of both Axolotl's and Evostyle's capabilities.

 

Johan van Arkel

Johan studied Product Design in London and spent 14 years there working for some of the top design companies in Europe. He has produced designs for many high profile clients working on projects ranging from product and bespoke furniture to residential, retail and hospitality interiors in Europe and around the world. 

 

Ben Wahrlich

As a trained design engineer, Ben has a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing principles. He utilises cutting edge production technologies together with traditional materials, which has lead to developing a unique and contemporary aesthetic in his work. Originally from New Zealand, Ben now operates ANAESTHETIC, in Sydney.
