The Capri Theatre is a heritage listed South Australian cinema established in 1941 and home to the Theatre Organ Society’s world class Wurlitzer pipe organ. Every ticket purchased contributes directly to the ongoing restoration of this iconic building and its historic organ, preserving an important piece of South Australia’s cultural heritage.

Anomaly partnered with the Capri Theatre to strengthen its digital presence and deepen audience connection through SEO and video production.
SEO
Following a detailed SEO audit, we identified that keyword visibility and organic traffic had dropped significantly and that the website was not appearing as strongly in Google search results as it should. Through targeted optimisation, visibility and engagement improved substantially.
Video Production
We created a brand video that brings the Capri Theatre’s story to life, celebrating its history, heritage architecture, and the world class Wurlitzer organ. The cinema itself is the hero, with every detail captured to evoke its atmosphere and emotion. From the lights illuminating the auditorium to the projector coming to life, popcorn filling buckets and the timeless box office, the film tells the story of the building rather than relying on talent. Cutdowns were also produced for advertising and website use to extend the reach of the story across digital channels.
Google Ads
As a not-for-profit organisation, The Capri was eligible for Google Ad Grants. Anomaly identified this opportunity and facilitated the registration of the account. The program provides up to $10,000 per month in free Google search advertising, enabling the theatre to reach wider audiences, promote screenings and events, and drive ticket sales more effectively.
Paid Meta
Anomaly managed Paid Meta campaigns to promote both the bi-weekly movie rotation and one-off events at The Capri. Dedicated creative assets were produced for each event with the goal of driving awareness, engagement and ticket sales, ensuring the theatre’s programming reached the right audiences at the right time.

Through improved search visibility and a richly atmospheric brand film, Anomaly helped reinforce the Capri Theatre’s position as a treasured cultural institution while driving awareness, engagement and ticket sales.
